Bear Grylls, the Chief Scout will be coming to Cheshire during the weekend of 10/11/12th May as part of his “Bear in the air” Programme to allow him to visit as many counties as possible by helicopter.
Cheshire is planning special events for all sections. The beaver scouts will have a fun day at The Heath in Runcorn and Bear is due to fly in during the day. Cubs and scouts can take part in a weekend camp at Tatton Park and Bear is scheduled to visit on Saturday and Sunday. Explorers will hold their event at Chester Racecourse on Saturday night and Sunday.
We are planning on taking part in these events and information will be sent out as soon as it is confirmed by County.
