This week, the low level blockwork and brickwork has been finished;

the ground was prepared;

then a layer of stones was added;

then a layer of sand;

then a damp proof membrane;

then insulation;

then another damp proof membrane;

and finally the concrete slab was poured.

Next week: the walls!
